Dîner en Blanc at Founder’s Hall 2025

A secret joie de vivre celebrating 100 years of Gatsby.

Dîner en Blanc at Founder’s Hall 2025

Philadelphia dressed in white, and for one night only, the city belonged to Dîner en Blanc.

Yesterday evening, hundreds of Philadelphians dressed head-to-toe in white gathered throughout Center City, awaiting to be ushered to their surprise dinner location. Excited guests were guided to the picturesque Founder’s Hall at Girard College. Beneath its grand colonnades, the tables were set. The grandeur of the Greek revival architecture provided a fitting stage for this year’s Gatsby-inspired celebration—a centennial tribute to an era of beauty, ritual, and conviviality.

Amidst the conversations of old friends and new, at the media experience area, we presented a Chambord Tasting Bar featuring a gold Chambord fountain–a fun nod to the opulence of the Jazz Age. Guests were invited to garnish their customized drinks with edible flowers: violets, marigolds, and other delicate blooms—grown by our partner, Blue Moon Acres, of Buckingham, PA. Their organic farm supplies some of the region’s most distinctive greens and blossoms. These vivid, organic blossoms added a touch of color and seasonality to the evening’s featured refreshments.

When the final course of the fête gave way to music, the formality of the dinner dissolved into a lively dance party. We were grateful to play a part in this vibrant celebration. Bravo Dîner en Blanc!
